The A219 links the two, and it is on that climb and around the Broadway that most local tyre trouble begins.

Kerbs are the main enemy in Wimbledon. The Village has high kerbs on narrow sloping streets, and pulling into a bay there is how a lot of sidewalls get pinched. A pinch often shows up days later as a bulge on the side of the tyre, and a bulged tyre can fail without warning.
