Why it matters who takes them
Waste tyres carry a duty of care that follows the person who produced the waste, not just whoever dumped it. If tyres you paid someone to remove turn up fly-tipped, the trail leads back to you. Using a licensed route is the only version of this that protects you, and it costs nothing extra when we are fitting.
Whole tyres have been banned from landfill since 2006. A licensed route sends them to be shredded for surfacing and moulded products, or recovered as fuel.
What we can collect
Loose tyres on or off their rims, from a driveway, a garage, a yard or a workshop. A handful is routine on a normal visit. For a larger clearance, tell us roughly how many and we will send something with the space for them.
If they are still on wheels you want to keep, we will break them off the rims and leave you the alloys.
